i am new of vray for c4d i known on 3dsmax but here is really different..

i started just yesterday to understand something but i had several problems probably because i don't understand so well the program.

i usually use photometric lights with lumen values in AR3 of c4d and everything is ok. i tried with vray after tagged the lights but it doesn't work correctly (i use the vray 1.2.5.5 version as i have R12 c4d) i don't see anything (all black) with the correct values of lumen as i know that they are correct (i usually use maxwell and i know well it) i starts to see something with straqnge values of lumen and in viewport in that case become everything white..

i see even that in viewport doens' t work more the hardware system of shadows and light with vray (it is normal?)

it is a bug or i don't know how to use vray=?

i wait for your answer..

vray photometric lights do work fine, same as in max. they are scale dependent.

the ar3 ligths are NOT rendering real in default setup as they do not take scale into account(only if you activate this ar renders light more real)

if you dot see the lights the lights are way to weak or you have a wrong scene scale.
in v12 make sure you use the latest version not the beta (this had no scale setup)
