Vray SSS to work beter

I wish a Vray SSS to work beter. Till now I couldn't see on this forum any decent work using SSS, and also I couldn't achieve any good effects using it. I don't have advance render (I bought FinalRender insead of it :wink: ) so I can't use Cinemas native SSS.

Another point is that if I tried to use sub surface render speed was a disaster. So my another wish :) maybe it could be a little faster, maybe an option to fake it some way.

SSS works very well in two ways, just try.

first the physical correct vray brdf SSS, this renders long but brings supperb results. (for SSS you need an semitrasnparent diffuse on and SSS checked)


or you use the c4d SSS, there you need a trianguated object but it renders very fast and nice too.

in future version the plugin fast SSS from vray might be included too. but until then you have already 2 good choises.

I don't have advance render so I will try harder with Vray-s SSS.
I've seen the fast sss option in 3ds vray and I wondered if it is possible here... it's good to know it is :)
