Copy & Paste

Copying and pasting files that have a different project scale will cause Cinema to crash.

An example would be open an scene that is in meters copy and paste it into a new scene that is in inches and Cinema will crash. I can re-create the problem on 4 different computers.

Sample files attached. Open both files in R12, copy the contents of the meters scene and past it into the inches scene.

Yeah I've come across this one: Crash on copy pasting to different scene (http://www.forum.vrayforc4d.com/showthread.php?t=8461).

Must be a bug related to the R12 units change

I'm having the same problem. But it goes a bit farther than that I think. I set the units in project settings and in preferences to the same on both files and I still get a crash.

document scale must also be the same. I get a vray plugin crash error so it's probably coming from a compatibility issue there. MAXON really changed their unit system in r12 huh?

yes maxon totally changed their unit system (we finally have a real unit system now in c4d), before there was actually no real unit system.

in regard of the copy save things, if it comes form maxon sdk or plugin side
