hello,
since yesterday i´ve got my vray and here is my first work.
i´m not satiesfied until now, so its a wip.
maybe you can tell me how to make the direct sunlight on the floor softer?
it is a question of material or lighting?
thanks in advance!

i love the images mate.
I think your samples are too low.(alot of artifacts)
Normally i set the sun intecity a bit lower if the sun is too strong. :)
I like your wall texture! 8)

Wow that's looking good, to soften the sun increase the size multiplier on the physical sun to 3 or what ever you desire, you can find it on the vray light tag under sun.

or just lower it's main intensity.
to soften the hard edges you need to make the shadow radius bigger
great images,
I can see why you have kept the sun high.
nice regimented image..focus into the center, try skewing the chair's, create an offset to the regimented rest...
thought at first that the shadow cast over the chairs would good, but I think skewing the chairs off or adding a something off square...
just needs a little something off....if you know what i mean

Man those are nice. I noticed that the wall texture I don't see where the texture tiles. How did you get this?

HI all, beautiful images :) Thanks to share them.
The radius to set is the Sun Radius :)

nice images. I like the wall texture and chair models. The depth makes chair reflection to distort a bit. I am not sure if it can be fixed easy?

thanks a lot!
i´m getting red :)
the wall textures are a misc of an arroway map, a dirtmap and
the filter shader.
i tried to screw at the parameters you told me but it hasnt the effect i
was looking for. maybe its a mix of camera, textures and the sun.
in vray all functions seems to have more influence to each other than the c4d ar does. so it needs time too looking through... :)
maybe i will understand the problem after i worked a while with vray.
then i will try to fix it again. :)
edit: oh i forgot something. the white points someone ask for.
i dont know where they come from? are they artefacts? or from space? ;)
please tell me if you know.
thanks for your comments!!
best wishes
