View Full Version : Vray target shift tilt cam
Hi this is based on the c4d content tilt camera. I just replaced the parameters control with a target control. I also connected the Vray camera clipper to the c4d cam clipper.
No need to change color now Just have different Camera names, silly me :)
hi this is for r11 and I think also r10

Can I rotate the focus plan with your camera in a way similar to tilt and shift real lens?
I open your file but I don't understand how it works...

why not just use x and y shift?
this is exactly what the expensive camera objectives do(shift lense)

There are a kind of pictures that you can produce only with the rotation of the focus plane. For the shift function x and y shift are perfect. It should be amazing to have also the rotation of the focus plane as a paramenter.
you dont have to do anything. just use it like you would use a regular target camera and it will keep the vertical lines parallel. the camera is only a simple adaptation for the c4d tilt camera providing a simpler interface IMHO. also the connection between the Vray and c4d clipper plane was added.

yes for the DOF shift effect ("small world" effect)you need to make in post atm, there are nice little tools for that, i have one even on iphone:-)
it is on the user wish list even, but to be honest this is most time done in post as it is esier to adjust.
cheers

The DOF shift effect is very useful in still images for products presentation. I agree that the small world effect is a simple post production effect. Other kind of picture, instead, are difficult to obtain in post production unless you export or create a depth map.
