spreading grass

hi all,

i have just purchased tongs very awesome grass collection.

my question is:
how to spread grass on an non-even, non rectangular surface? if i use the huge patterns (1x1m) i cannot follow the shape of the landscape, cause the tiles are to huge.(i use mograph)

if i clone smaller grassobjects, i need many 100.000s clones, which slows the editor down to death and i have some very dense areas and some thin out areas...

can anyone help?

you can control number of cloners in viewport ;-)

also i make this way areas where i can, i use patterns, areas near roads, house, not tiles, i use small branches on selections, so basically you will have 2 selections on landscape, one for big patterns and second for hard areas with smaller bunches.
