Hi there all,

I'm putting together a group of freelancers that can help out on larger projects. I've been running my own company for about 6 years now with a small but important client list.

I'm looking to expand but cannot offer full time steady work at the moment. I do get very large projects with tight deadlines that I have to bring teams of 2 - 6 people together for. I usually have to pull from other graphic disciplines as most architects don't have the art chops, digital or otherwise to do great viz work.

Skills needed: ( you don't have to have all of them since there are many stages in a viz pipeline but it helps to be versatile in a small office )

c4d ( other modeling programs are fine but it's got to come into c4d eventually and without hassle )

vray - I'e been using it for a couple of years now

Photoshop - good compositing skills, collage, adjustment and post production. There is no time to tweak a 3d renderings till you get it just right without post. Besides, it's my style

ability to build models from acad plans or sketches

animation skills : Aftereffects, vray, flash, good camera movement ( flythroughs ), rigging ( things moving in the scene )

I'd like people in Los Angeles and to be available to come into my office for the work.

If you or people you know in the area might be interested. send me a link to your online portfolio.

If you're really good at one of those things above but not all, send me a message and link anyways. People out of Art Center without architectural training produce beautiful work. It could work out.

Thanks

John Zapf
