Hi All,
Here is my studio light setup attempt.
The 2 sphere materials are downloaded from here. :)

its better to switch off the cellphone. the screen is blue and the stage is orange =p its not a good combination imo :oops:

thanx for all to post the files.
I see you put the orange luminance material on the stage...well...if you uncheck the luminance channel it is the same result, so I wonder why did you use it? or am I wrong?...couse I cant see any difference with lighting.

hey! thats wahst i wanted to ask:
why the checked luminance channel?
and:
why does nothing change, when i uncheck luminance or when i increase luminance to 5000? strange...

I don't know. I just render the scene as it is.
When I open this scene and hit the render button. It will be as seen in the image I posted.

Do you think a similar result could be achieved by simply using a HDR map for lighting etc?

i did the same... i open the *.c4d file and press the render button.

yes i know :D
the intensity is between 0.7-10... but i can change it however i want, its dark linke the render.
I didn't change andything! I just opened and rendered it....

maybe try to use white for the gi override in the environment tab of the vray bridge

anyway. added little tweaks, planelights and of course 55 spheres. Rendertime: 26 Min 3000+
